The biggest lift system and area of any of the Scottish resorts. There is a real sense of travel at Glenshee that you don't get at the the other Scottish resorts (if it is all open).
Glenshee Lifts
The resort is spread over three valleys- The Cairnwell side where the ticket office etc is by the side of the road, Meall Odhar and the Sunny side on the opposite side of the road and beyond that Glas Maol. There are 22 lifts in all including 3 chairlifts, the most in Scotland. They recently replaced the Cairnwell Chairlift with a three man which has greatly improved uplift on the Cairnwell side. The lifts are mostly pomas, some with the unnerving ability to feel like they are launching you into space at the start before feeling like they slow down. It's a big and varied lift system that feels especially big when the Glas Maol poma is running.
Glenshee Best Runs
Glas Moal is by far our favourite run at Glenshee. It is a nice long (nearly 2km) meander down the main drag but if there is enough snow there is a nice steep section if you go through the fence just after getting off the poma. The Tiger on the Cairnwell side is a nice steep run that can be pretty sketchy in ice (when it is definitely a black run), its fun skiing back towards the road. The snow in Coire Fionn is often nice and cold and a good stretch on the way to Glas Maol. Glenshee feels like a big resort in comparison to the others and when it is all open in good snow is a varied and fun day out.

Glenshee Overall
Glenshee is a great resort in good snow, especially when Glas Maol is open. Can get busy on a weekend so best going through the week if you can (that goes for all Scottish resorts in truth). Well worth a visit.
