The Scottish Resort that we have skiied least (it's another half hour past Nevis Range from our side) but can be really fun. The views are spectacular and the team running it are really showing the way for Scottish skiing.
Glencoe Lifts
You access the main ski lifts from the access chair beside the car park. From there the lifts fan out to some green runs and beyond that there is a button tow and T-bar to the top of the hill through the main basin and the steepest runs. The tows are efficient and allow you to ski anywhere over the whole face of the hill. A new three man chairlift to the left hand side of the top of the access chair will help to cut down ques and open up the green runs below the Flypaper. Small but perfectly formed.

Glencoe Best runs
In good snow Glencoe feels like a huge playground with gullies, drop offs and bumps all over the place. If the snow is good on the lower mountain then the run from the top of the hill then down and past the top of the access chair and on to the ticket office is probably the longest pisted run in Scotland. The Flypaper is a really steep run that is excellent in good snow and much more sketchy in ice, I've seen someone fall and go top to bottom here (he survived). Rannoch Glades is a really fun area, a good level of steepness and often nice snow.

Glencoe Overall
Glencoe is a fun place to ski with lots of natural features and interesting runs, add in the spectacular views and it's a real winner. They are investing money in infrastructure and making a real effort to develop the place. We would go there much more if it was closer to us.
